Details
An owl-faced camera that prints the photo the second they take it: on thermal paper, so there is no ink to buy. Two cameras (front and selfie), video, a 2-inch screen and a few built-in games, with colouring pens to colour the prints in.
BRIGHTLING
Why kids (and parents) love it
Their photo, in their hand
The print comes out the second they press the button: the reaction is the best bit.
Nothing to refill but paper
Thermal printing needs no ink or cartridges. Spare rolls cost pennies.
Screen time that gets them outside
A camera sends them looking for things to shoot, then colouring their prints in.

Questions
How good are the photos?
It is a kids camera: fine for prints and their own snaps, not a phone camera. The prints are black and white thermal prints they can colour in.
Where do I get more paper?
It takes standard 57 mm thermal paper rolls, sold everywhere for pennies a roll.
Is the thermal paper safe?
We ask the maker for BPA-free paper and confirm it before dispatch. Wash hands after a long colouring session, as with any receipt paper.
When will it arrive?
Dispatched from our maker within 3 to 7 working days, then tracked delivery to the UK, usually 7 to 12 working days. We confirm your dispatch date (and the UK safety paperwork) by email before taking payment. For Christmas, reserve by Friday 27 November 2026.
Can I return it?
Tell us within 30 days of delivery and send it back unused in its box for a refund. Arrived faulty or stops working within 12 months? We replace it. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Is it a good gift?
It comes in its own colour box, and you can add a gift note at checkout. We leave prices out of the parcel.
